Habitat for Humanity’s Roots |
|
The concept that grew into Habitat for Humanity International was born at Koinonia Farm, a small, interracial, Christian farming community founded in 1942 outside of Americus, GA. Habitat for Humanity International is the world’s largest non profit housing developer. The organization was founded by Millard Fuller in 1976. Habitat for Humanity International has taken the lead in making the argument to the world that everyone has the right to live in a decent, affordable home, regardless of race, color or creed
